Ok, this is indeed very cool, but it’s spreading like wildfire. This is from 2006. As of 2010, the CP acceptance rate has doubled. Probably because freshmen housing space has doubled. I feel like such a Debbie downer, but I still love my school! aarontmccoy: Get it, Poly!   annathejoy: I’m so proud to be a Cal Poly SLO Alum.  The sixth most selective school in the US, behind four Ivy Leagues and Stanford!? I also really like what schools we rank ahead of, including Cal Poly Pomona!  This is why we make such a big deal about going to the “real” Cal Poly.  Click through for a more complete list of them. Also notice that these numbers are from 2006…the year before I was accepted to CPSLO.  2007 was the most competitive year in terms of admissions in CPSLO history, and it’s only gotten harder since then!
